This Privacy Policy describes how Workye Tekle ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Fidel app and services (the "Service").

Payment information: billing details required to process subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
Usage data: lesson progress, quiz scores, streaks, and activity timestamps used to personalize your learning.
Device and log data: IP address, device type, operating system, and basic diagnostic information.

2. How We Use Information

To provide and operate the Service, including authentication and subscription management.
To personalize learning content and track your progress.
To process payments and prevent fraud via Stripe.
To communicate service updates, security notices, and respond to support requests.
To improve the Service and troubleshoot technical issues.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

Stripe — to process subscription payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Google Firebase — for authentication, database, and file storage. See Firebase Privacy.
Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including HTTPS encryption in transit, secure credentials, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure. Report any security concern to workyemulatu@gmail.com.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and progress data while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us; we will delete your data within 30 days unless required by law to retain it (e.g., tax records).

6. Your Rights

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our servers are located in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to the U.S.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice.
