Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Fidel app and services (the "Service"), operated by Workye Tekle ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscription & Billing

• Fidel is available via a paid subscription at $5.99 per month (or the rate shown at checkout).
• Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period unless canceled before the next renewal date.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method.
• Taxes may apply based on your location.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, effective on your next renewal.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. To request a refund for exceptional circumstances, email workyemulatu@gmail.com within 7 days of the charge.
• After cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your paid period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or redistribute content without permission.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source data from the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload harmful content or attempt to disrupt the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All lessons, audio, images, code, and branding are the property of Workye Tekle or licensors and protected by copyright. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal learning only.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Workye Tekle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or abuse. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
